I've had a lot of interesting dreams these past few nights.
The first involved evading vengeful ghosts or spirits of some sort, and they possessed people by stabbing them with immaterial ice picks. In turn, the possessed ran around and tried to transfer the spirit to someone else by doing the same. People who were possessed became ridiculously fast and often had no memory of what they did during the time. Thankfully, the spirits were very visible to the normal eye, and they kinda looked like semi-transparent liches. My siblings and I (inadvertently) found that we could slow them down with metal struck by those who were (relatively) pure of heart. Apparently, such an action transmitted "waves of benevolence" during the duration of the vibration or something to that effect. >>
I thought the second dream was cool when I woke up, but unfortunately, I can't seem to remember it at all. ><
Finally the dream from this morning was essentially about a trading card game and/or video game of some sort. Basically, the premise is that you can create these "dolls" or monsters and you use them to create an army to battle other players. Not too original so far. But the interesting quirk in the first part of the dream was that you designed your dolls' appearances and printed off your own deck. Their attributes (level, attack, health, defense, element, etc.) are randomly determined from the "tokens" used in the designer program, and you can manage (create, sort, remove) your entire collection from the software.
The second half of the dream entailed battling cards with two other people (Cliff and Ninji?) in a three-man free-for-all. Somehow, I had no idea what was going on, so I had no dolls on the field and amassed a lot of cards in my hand. Cliff then attacked me with the two dolls that he had summoned, and I had a chance to summon one to counterattack. Cleverly enough, the "token" card used to summon a doll matches the one used to create it in the software. And so, I had to find a "Lv1 (Water) Golem, Sickly" from the creature deck.
The dream seemed like a lot of fun, and it was very interesting. Unfortunately, I ended up waking ten minute before my first class started.
May there be many more!
